Purposeful Live-Aboard Cruise Business

We’re looking for a sales representative with 5 to 10 years’ experience, a passion for environmentally conscious tourism, and the skills and tenacity to develop and promote an innovative new travel business in a challenging emerging market environment.
Nomad Archipelago is a social enterprise, established to operate eco-conscious cruising and ‘slow travel’ journeys through the most unspoiled islands of the Indonesian archipelago. Through its operations, Nomad Archipelago will deliver positive impacts for ocean wildlife, and fighting against plastic waste pollution — All profits generated by the business will be distributed to Blue Alliance Indonesia for Marine Protected Areas managed and the benefit of the local coastal communities
The candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling a unique travel experiences to the travel trade, both domestically in Indonesia, and internationally — The primary role is to significantly boost occupancies within the designated price range of our offering. This will involve a multifaceted approach such as establishing and nurturing strong relationships with travel trade clients, effective distribution of marketing materials, and comprehensive product training of travel partners' sales teams. The position is based in Indonesia, with a preference for the Nomad Archipelago head office in Bali.
Nomad Archipelago is an entrepreneurial venture established by Nomad Plastic, and backed by Blue Alliance. The candidate will join a team motivated by hard work, passion and fun, and backed by a developing global ecotourism brand, BlueWild EcoVentures, the ecotourism arm of Blue Alliance, that will provide professional sales, marketing and branding support with a strong ambition to scale the business.
