DAY 1:

Upon arrival at Sorong airport we immediately transfer you to the harbour where BUGIS is waiting. Once you are aboard our cruise director will first give you a general briefing to familiarize you with the vessel and our safety procedures. Then we cast off/raise the anchor and the vessel goes on a Northerly course into the Dampier Strait. Our first destination is Waigeo. Here we will enjoy our first experience of white-sand beaches, clear waters, and iridescent reefs with the backdrop of heavy rain forest. We spend the night at anchor.

DAY 2

For those who wake up early our zodiac will take you in the dark to the village where a guide will take you on a hike in the forest to spot the gorgeous Wilson`s Bird of Paradise. After re-embarkation we may go snorkeling then continue our journey to Kri Island to enjoy spectacular snorkeling. Around noon we sail out of the bay to the small picturesque island Arborek. On the reef below the wooden pontoon and along this beautiful beach expect to see brilliant hard coral formations and a dazzling array of fishes. We will also go ashore to have a walk in the village.

DAY 3 :

The Fam Islands are one of the natural wonders of Raja Ampat,  and we will spend two days there to uncover all their secrets. Here,  we will appreciate clear waters and astonishing reefs set against  the backdrop of dense forests – paradisiacal islands lined with  white sandy beaches. We will also explore the characteristic  landscape of "karst formation" and embark on a hike to the  summit of Piaynemo to enjoy an incredible panorama from the  top.

Day 4:

As the sun rises we arrive on what can better be described as an atoll rather than an Island. . Its official name is Kofiau. Morning we step ashore to a picturesque village meeting their inhabitants and listen to their stories. After that we sail to a deserted island to organise a barbecue on a white sand beach.

DAY 5:

Arriving at Pisang Island located on middle of the strait in the Banda sea. We start our day with an early dive/snorkeling. Banggai: at day break, we reach Bokan, a group of islands separated by lagoons. We’ll start the day with a session of snorkeling. Then we visit another “Bajo” village to experience the daily lives of these sea people. In the afternoon, we take our zodiac to explore various coastal areas, in particular some reefs where we can see the endemic Banggai cardinal fish as well as a jellyfish lake in the afternoon, we explore rarely visited nearby islands where we indulge in the spirit of adventure that defines our slow cruises. Night at anchor.
